
Piecing Together the Broken Land
The brief for marketing communication students on this project was to create a series of five composite images showcasing; Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skills. So, I constructed a campaign as if I were working at Nike. During April-May 2021, one of the biggest stories in the NBA was that the Brooklyn Nets were building an all-start calibre line-up to win their first championship in the NBA. Playing off of the name Brooklyn (broken land in Greek), I wanted to represent each player as a puzzle piece who will help the Nets solve their problems. The big idea for this campaign is ‘Piecing together the broken land’. Each player brings a different attribute or ‘piece of the puzzle’ to becoming a championship-winning team. As a result, I produced a comprehensive campaign, showcasing my creativity using industry tools, and achieved a High Distinction.
